Hello, my name is Svetlana, I am a felt artist from Belarus. Felting is my hobby, my job and a way to express myself. I have been felting since 2008. As long as I remember myself I always searched ways to express myself through art and have tried to find myself in drawing, painting, embroidery and macrame. For a long time I was a professional silk painter but then I saw felted items in a local shop and fell in love with them. The variety of things that can be made from felt was broader than any other art I knew and I realized I had to learn it. There were no masterclasses in my city back then so I started learning by myself following online tutorials. My new hobby completely overwhelmed me, I came together with other felt enthusiasts and we were learning from each other. Not willing to remain at an amateur level, I started to regularly visit masterclasses, where I learned a great number of different felting techniques and ways to apply them. Until nowadays, I never stop to grow professionally, constantly developing myself and upgrading my skills. At the moment I make a broad variety of felted items, such as slippers, winter boots, bags, brooches, scarves, clothes, hats, home decor articles. In my work I only use top quality wool and accessories. Since I also paint on silk, I often include silk elements into my work. Whenever travelling, I always bring back something I can use for creating new items, be it local ornaments, unusual materials or good mood.
My family is the greatest inspiration and support for me, they are always at my side and inspire me to reach new heights in everything I do.
Most of the items in my shop are pre-made and ready to be shipped within the shortest period of time. However, I can also create variations of each item to order. This usually takes extra time and depends on the amount of work required and the workload at the moment.
