Hello to everyone who came to visit me! I'm Oxana and this is my store OxLeonyNeedleworks.
For as long as I can remember, my mother has always sewed. And when I was a little girl, I always watched her with great interest. Then she gave me scraps of fabric, thread and a needle and taught me how to sew. From early childhood, I fell in love with art with all my heart. I sewed clothes for dolls, loved to draw and make various crafts from natural materials.
Time passed, I grew up and I liked to learn something new. I learned to knit, weave from beads, embroider with a cross.
When my daughter grew up, I taught her what I knew and could do myself. She enjoys making beadwork, painting and singing. She is very good at it and I am very proud of her.
I started cross stitching recently, about fifteen years ago. First I embroidered designs from books, then small embroidery kits, and then I decided to try to make my own pattern and embroider it. I really liked it and I began to study at the school of design. It was amazing, I am very glad that I went through this training and now I can embody all my ideas with the help of embroidery.
What inspires me to create my designs? The answer is simple - my main inspiration is the world around me! This is my daughter, my family, nature, plants, animals.
I love creating simple primitive designs. Patterns like these provide a lot of room for creativity. Interesting materials can be used (hand-dyed fabrics and threads, as well as handmade frames - all this suits simple primitive patterns)
All the patterns that are sold in my store and you see in the photo, I embroider myself. I try different colors of threads and fabrics for embroidery, choose the most beautiful ones and create a design that you can buy in this store.
